I’ve found a diet that meets this list of criteria, and I’m going to try this out and document the results here.  The diet is Dr. Siegal’s Cookie Diet.  Before you throw your hands up and say ‘no, that’s just a scam’, let me say that I have done some research and I am intrigued.  Dr. Sanford Siegal developed the Cookie Diet back in 1975. His practice is in South Florida and he has helped over 500,000 people lose a significant amount of weight.

His cookies are made from a secret, proprietary blend of protein and amino acids that are supposed to suppress your appetite.  Dr. Siegal’s Cookie Diet allows you to eat 6 cookies a day.  These cookies are supposed to replace your breakfast and lunch and then you are responsible for a 500 – 600 calorie dinner.  You do have to make some decisions and planning around dinner, but this also means that you get to eat real food!  This diet limits your caloric intake to 1000 – 1200 calories a day, and you are cautioned not to restrict your calories below 1000 a day.  Let’s face it.  On this number of calories a day, you will lose weight.
